We are researching the direct conversion of carbon
dioxide through various electrochemical reactions,
such as carbon dioxide reduction, fuel cell reactions,
and water electrolysis reactions.
How much time is left
until the destruction of the Earth?
Despite the persistence of climate change since industrialization, its impacts have not been drastically felt.
This is because various elements of the Earth system have buffered its impact.
However, climate change has rapidly altered the way the Earth system interacts, triggering a climate crisis.
The IPCC's "1.5℃ Special Report" published in 2018 stated that to limit the global average temperature rise to 1.5℃,
the global gas content must be reduced by more than 45% compared to 2010 by 2030 and carbon neutrality must be achieved by 2050.
Our research on electrochemical energy and carbon capture is a vital mission that must be carried out
